Adorable Thanksgiving Crafts

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and my waist line is getting ready....

But I have a confession to make. I don't really do thanksgiving crafts. We travel every year to celebrate with our family in North Texas so there's not really a point to decorate specifically for it. I just decorate for fall. Sometime next week I'm going to share a great tutorial for a thanksgiving hostess gift for those of you that will be at someone else's house for thanksgiving.

It's a Pottery Barn knock off that she created for only $5! I love Pottery Barn Knock offs and hers is actually better than the original. She shares an entire tutorial to make your own in case you want your house to look better than the Pottery Barn catalogues.

For the perfect way to dress up your thanksgiving table... use chalk cloth like Laura from Finding Home did. I love this idea but I think my kids would love it even more.

One of the things they're thankful for is "the smell of maple syrup cooking."  Why have I never smelled that? oh. because I live in Texas where all you smell is cow manure in the country and smog in the city.

Don't worry, I didn't forget you serious Pumpkin Spice Latte drinkers. (I'm a gingerbread latte girl myself)
