The Getaway

This past weekend we got out of dodge, er.. Houston. Unbeknown to me, Damion planned a little get away for our anniversary, kid free.

Do you realize how many things you can do without kids? I almost forgot that I could go to the bathroom without a four year old staring at me. Believe it or not, I can also get dressed without supervision. This just blew my mind.

Overall, the weekend was wonderful but busy. We never had time for the long lazy naps and sleeping in super late. I guess we're too used to getting up at the crack of dawn and going nonstop until bedtime, because that's what we did.

We went to a Japanese garden that had huge Koi fish.

 Our hotel bathroom was the size of my house (just about anyway) and it was my dream bathroom. Gorgeous.

 I tried these on but took them off before I broke anything, like my neck.
