Found It!

The good news is that I found the Village Idiot. The bad news is that I'm it.

hm.

Tonight I was filling the dog's rather large water bowl in the sink. I placed it on top of the high chair tray, which was there awaiting cleaning, which meant that it was higher than the lip of the sink.

Then I got lost in thought. I'm not sure what thoughts. Really, I do not remember what had me so enraptured inside of my own brain but it must have been good.

I'm not sure how long I was deep in thought but I'm guessing long enough to drown my entire kitchen counter top and two cabinets with water.

See this empty peanut butter jar? It was under the kitchen sink which I am now aware is not fully caulked.

So of course like any wonderful, calm, loving mommy whose husband was not home would do... I started screaming like a maniac and went running in my wobbly odd run to the garage for dirty used towels.

Yes, I did remember to turn off the water first and yes Princess Newbie did stand there sobbing because my screaming freaked her out.

Yes.. I know this picture is sideways but Blogger has been doing this to my pictures lately and I can't figure out why! So just turn your head to the left and lean over a little bit.....

Can you see it now? Good because everyone in the room is now wondering what you're doing and wondering if they have found the village idiot.

Thanks for taking the title from me... It's too much responsibility, I can't handle it. I can't even fill up the dog bowl with water!
