Contest for Cricut

I've been eyeing this machine called a cricut for some time now. The possibilities with it are endless. Skiptomylou.org has a great example of magnetic doll sets that can be made with it. So in hopes of finally getting one, I am entering this contest on TodaysMama.com

This is contest entry for those crazy folks at TodaysMama and Cricut. Be sure to check out Cricut's cool new cartridges and the chance at $30,000 in travel for you and your friends at the Great Gypsy Escape site! http://bit.ly/FWcudGreat Escape Meme

1. If you could escape to anywhere in the world where would it be? Agh I have to think. This sounds crazy but I was watching Cribs the other day and they were showing Richard Branson's home on his own private island in the Caribbean. This is nuts but that is where I would want to go to escape. Sit in the old claw foot tub he has on the balcony and look out on the ocean or to take a shower in the outside bathroom. Wow. it was gorgeous!

2. What song do you play when you are by yourself in the car? I can be by myself in the car? Before kids when I was able to be in the car by myself, I used to blast any up tempo praise music and sing my lungs out. I miss those times and I miss the weird looks other people would give me.

3. If you had a night to yourself, and money was no object, what would you do? Honestly if money was no option and I wouldn't feel any guilt about taking money away from something my family needs, I would go shopping for new clothes, treat myself to a pedicure and then onto dinner at my favorite place to be alone, La Madelines.

4. What is your guilty pleasure? baked goods. haha.

5. What is the farthest place you have traveled away from your home? I've never really traveled so the furthest I have been is to North Carolina. It was a 18 hour trip from our home in Longview, TX.

6. Last book that you couldn't put down? I just finished the Jan Karon Mitford series. It was a great book to read by the pool this summer because it's just for entertainment, no deep thought required.

7. When you want to escape into another time, what movie do you watch? I watch Love Comes Softly, originally wrote by Janette Oakley. It's a great movie! I also love Gidget.

8. What is your favorite local escape? Definitely the nail salon. :)

9. How do you escape on a budget? I lay in my bed by myself and watch a movie.

Best food you've ever had while on vacation. When His Royal Highness and I were dating we took a day trip to Galveston Island and ate at a small restaurant across from the beach. I honestly don't remember the food but romance was wonderful! After dinner we walked across the beach and sat on the dark beach talking. It was wonderful.
